Charles Kim is a co-founder and President of Viscosity North America, an Oracle ACE Director, and a VMware vExpert. Charles is an Oracle Certified DBA, a Certified RAC Expert and a Certified Exadata Implementation Specialist. Charles specializes in Exadata, RAC, and Virtualization (VMware and Oracle VM) and authored 9 books. Charles was one of the founding members of the virtualization SIG that launched in 2011 at Oracle OpenWorld. Charles is currently the Vice President of the Cloud Computing SIG for the IOUG.

Jerry Ward is a co-founder of Viscosity North America. Jerry has served as a consulting Architect for the VHA, Kellogg Brown and Root, Invesco, Fidelity National Financial, Dresser Rand, Ericsson, Nortel Networks, and the Human Genome Sequencing Center (BCM). Jerry has worked with Oracle technology since 1991, including Oracle database version 6+ and Oracle Applications version 9+.
He has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, Venice Magazine, 002 Houston, KXAN Austin, Tyler Morning News, Gulfscapes Magazine, and other business publications.

Rich Niemiec is the current Chief Innovation Officer of Viscosity North America. Rich is an Oracle Ace Director, a world renowned IT Expert, and was a co-founder and the CEO of TUSC, a Chicago-based systems integrator of Oracle-based business solutions started in 1988. Rich has served as President of Rolta TUSC and Rolta EICT.
Rich is the past President of the International Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and the current President of the Midwest Oracle Users Group (MOUG). Rich has architected and tuned many Fortune 500 systems over the past 25 years.

Christian Rokitta is an independent Oracle consultant with more than two decades of experience in Oracle Database development and web development. Since 1998, he has used the Oracle Web Toolkit and mod_plsql to develop data-centric web applications in Oracle environments. Using the APEX development framework was the logical next step.
Christian is German, but for the past 15 years he has lived and worked in the Netherlands. From 1996 to 1999, he worked as a custom development consultant for Oracle Netherlands. In the 10 years that followed, he acted as consultant and product development manager for Scamander Solutions. In April 2010, Christian became an independent Oracle consultant and founded themes4apex, a service that offers custom APEX theme design.

Roel Hartman is a very experienced Oracle software architect. He started about 20 years ago using Oracle RDBMS 5, Oracle Forms 2.3, RPT/RPF, and Oracle*Case 4.5. Since a few years ago, he focuses mainly on Oracle Application Express.
Roel has been a speaker at UKOUG, OOW, Collaborate, Kscope, and a number of local Oracle user groups. He is an active participant in the Oracle APEX Forum and keeps an (APEX-related) blog at roelhartman.blogspot.com. In June 2009, Roel received an Oracle ACE award, and in August 2010 he was appointed as Oracle ACE Director. Roel is a co-writer of Expert Oracle Application Express and the main author of Oracle Application Express for Mobile Web Applications. He is director at APEX Consulting in the Netherlands and a member of the SMART4apex guild.

Erik Espinoza is an APEX, JavaScript, and web technology evangelist. He serves as a consulting architect for Viscosity clients including Williams, Vizient, Novation, Children’s Hospitals of America, and Texas de Brazil Steakhouse. Prior to joining Viscosity, Erik served as CTO for Kipo, a mobile application business solution that was one of the first startups in Guatemala City’s now-thriving tech center. He has also worked as architect for Xerox, ACS, Banco Reformador, Carillo Law, and SkillBuilders. When not exploring technology, Erik volunteers as Scout Leader for the National Scout Association of Guatemala. He also works with youth in Guatemala as part of gang outreach services.
