Oracle’s Exadata system is available in various forms; such as on-prem Exadata, Exadata Cloud Service, and Exadata Cloud @Customer. Each one has a different flavor of user supportability, manageability as well as preparation for it. This session will focus on Exadata Cloud Service., where we showcase the provisioning process, review the Exadata architecture, do a walk through of the newly provisioned Exadata, and finally post provisioning tasks to prepare for the database migration. In addition, we will discuss roles and responsibilities and how this differs from on-prem Exadata.
