Tom Kopec is a Senior Alliances Consultant with Oracle. As a member of the Oracle North American Channels team, Tom focuses on Partner Cloud enablement. This includes Cloud training for Oracle resell partners, presales activities, and running point between the Oracle reseller and various Oracle teams relating to Cloud. Prior to entering the software industry, Tom was employed by US West for 12 years as a Systems Programmer and Application Developer. After leaving US West, Tom worked for Informix, Unidata, Knowledgeware and Pansophic Systems. Tom has been in the software industry for the last 25 years focusing on sales and marketing of Database/Application Development tools. The last 19 years Tom has supported Oracle’s technology offerings in the channel
Rich Niemiec is the current Chief Innovation Officer of Viscosity North America. As an Oracle Ace Director and world-renowned IT Expert, Rich was a co-founder and CEO of TUSC, a Chicago-based systems integrator of Oracle-based business solutions started in 1988. Rich has served as President of Rolta TUSC and Rolta EICT.
Rich is the past President of the International Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and the current President of the Midwest Oracle Users Group (MOUG). His accolades include being one of six originally honored worldwide Oracle Certified Masters. His 34 years of experience includes database administration, performance tuning, project management, and technical education. In 2017, he authored “Oracle12c Performance Tuning Tips & Techniques”, an update of his previous four best sellers; Oracle8i, 9i, 10g, and 11i Performance Tuning.
